The Jazzual Suspects - This Beat (Original Mix)
Jack Kerouac quoting ‘On the Road’ with an almost hypnotic acidic jazz backing equals a very deep track. I’m not convinced the Jazzual Suspects still exist because I haven’t been able to find any information on them, and I don’t think they’ve released very much, if not anything in the last 4 years. Sigh… It’s a shame because ’This Beat’ is almost haunting my dreams with its brilliance. Sometimes you get this in music; a flash in the pan piece of dopeness, that just wets our greedy ears for more. They do have another a very nice track featured in the music compilation Mushroom Jazz Vol. 6 titled ‘Ba Dada’, but not much else folks.
